members. Here
you will find
all the
necessary
information and forms
required to
renew your
Alumni Instructor level
status with the
Underwater Unit
each year.
The
fee for
Alumni Status
Instructor
Recertification
includes
reissuance of an
annual
Instructor
C-Card.
For an
additional fee
you can also
have a new Los
Angeles County
Underwater
Instructor Photo
Identification
card printed.
Photo
Identification
cards do not
expire and only
provide a means
of
identification
only.
Photo
Identification
cards do not
authorize you to
teach Scuba for
the County of
Los Angeles, for
that you must
have an Active
Status
Instructor
C-Card.

In order to
maintain a
yearly Alumni
Instructor
(non-teaching)
status, the
following
requirements
must be met: |

Documentation

submit
the
Recertification
Application
-
Pay
the
annual
"Alumni"
Recertification
Fee
of
$35.00
|

Alumni
status
Instructors
intending
to
return
to
active
status
may be
required
to
obtain
Physician
approval
as well
as
meeting
all the
other
requirements
for
Active
Status
recertification. |
