The Adventure Begins
Here is where it all begins. Learning
to scuba dive is an incredible experience, something
most people never forget. Breathing underwater, the
feeling of weightlessness and the freedom to move among
the aquatic animals cannot be matched by any other
recreational activity. Anyone who is at least 12 years
old, healthy and comfortable in the water can learn to
safely scuba dive. |

| Begin the Adventure! |
|
|
| |
In your Basic
course you will be instructed on the equipment needed to
dive, how it works and how to use it safely. The
academic portion (classroom) of the course covers basic
diving techniques, how your body is affected when
diving, dive planning, basic rescue procedures and a
preview of the skills you will practice in the water. |

|
|
| |
Now the Fun Begins
First you'll start, in the pool, with skin diving or
snorkeling skills. Becoming comfortable with mask, fins
and snorkel is the foundation of a competent scuba
diver. |

Next, your instructor will demonstrate and have you

of scuba. |

And It Gets Better
Once you are comfortable with all the pool skills it's
off to the Ocean. Here is where you demonstrate your
proficiency with the skills in open water. The
instructor will teach you basic techniques needed to
plan and execute a safe dive in a local area of
beautiful Southern California. We have some of the best
diving right off our coast. |
